    True. Animals were …
True. Animals were not designed to consume the milk of a different species. Cow’s milk is for cows because it’s set up for a cow’s physiology, not a human’s. Cows (and other animals) have biological needs and requirements that we don’t have. You would never feed a cow human milk. It’s baffling why it has taken us this long to figure it out. I, personally, have become an undeniable fan of Almond milk. I LOVE the stuff. I highly recommend…

    upon watching this …
upon watching this again I thought I should mention I never let my son drink cow’s milk…he’s been on soy….thinking about going to rice milk. Dick Gregory…when I was a child…said milk was toxic to african americans…and this is appearing to be true…but not just AA…my little god son is of german and mexican descent and has some pronounced milk allergies.

    The only way to …
The only way to know for sure is to trying going without dairy or eggs for a few weeks and see if your problems improve. That’s what I had to do. Doctors couldn’t figure it out for me, so I had to do my own experimentation. Try going dairy-free and/or egg-free for a while and see if your skin rashes disappear. If not, try another food or maybe it could be your clothes detergent. It’s mostly a matter of process of elimination. It’s painstaking but it works! =)

    Hey sorry for the …
Hey sorry for the late reply. But that’s cool. I have also avoided dairy (besides eggs) for 6 months now. I find my skin is less oily and i don’t break out hardly as much. even my old scars are healing. It’s odd though how only some people have allergens to dairy and some don’t.

    Thanks for posting …
Thanks for posting this! I’ve just started to do this. I recently (a few weeks ago) moved from soy milk to almond milk. I like it SO much better and it tastes really good in cereal. I’ve been trying to cut out all dairy altogether, but I have a weakness for milk chocolate. If I could cut out the candies I think I’d be okay., lol!

Soy has hormones in it as well…eliminate ALL milk of any type. Take calcium tablets with vitamin D. Amen

    I actually just …
I actually just started drinking almond milk and I’m finding that I really like it. I get the Almond Breeze unsweetened vanilla. It’s going to be my new staple and at only $1.99 a container from Trader Joe’s – well, that’s even better. =)

I know. There is so …
I know. There is so much misinformation out there about the dangers of certain foods. As many times as I had gone to the doctor’s about my myriad problems, none and I mean absolutely NONE of them ever once thought it may be an allergy to dairy. Considering the disproportionate number of people who are allergic to it, you’d think the doctors would know something about it by now, but sadly, most don’t. I had to figure it out on my own. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck!

Well, it took quite a while for my scars to heal, but I don’t think I was getting any new outbreaks about a week or so after cutting out dairy. Of the existing scars, it took about 6 months (some longer) for them to heal. =(

I’m not sure if you …
I’m not sure if you mentioned it in the video, but how long did you notice no more breakouts after quitting dairy?

  13. EasyHardLivin

    Naturally occuring …
Naturally occuring estrogen in bovine milk creates a hormonal imbalance and thus causing acne. That is my diagnosis for myself. I can drink milk all I want with no problem, except pimples. And I now have extreme body acne scarring all to thank from milk. We shouldn’t drink milk from another animal, it’s not like they drink human breast milk. A few alternatives to milk are almond, hazel, or hemp milk. They all taste good to me and don’t cause a breakout. Soy and dairy = my culprit.

    My parotid glands …
My parotid glands located just under my ear lobes in my neck are swollen because of a milk allergy on one side its as big as a golf ball and now the Dr. wants to cut me up like frankenstein. Im so mad at the milk industry!!!!!

    i have a serious …
i have a serious milk allergy and believe it or not its not lactose intolerent there are different forms of a milk allergy and different reactions for me it stops me breathing

    I don’t doubt it. …
I don’t doubt it. Other members of my family have trouble with milk too. I try to avoid it, but it’s difficult because milk is in so many things. It’s a staple which it shouldn’t be. I know how it makes my body react and I know how it effects others as well.

We need to move away from telling people to drink cow’s milk. There are plenty of other sources of calcium like fruits and vegetables. Outside of that, cow’s milk pretty much serves no purpose in humans.

    Dr. Vieth says …
Dr. Vieth says human problems with cow milk is much more than just issue of “lactose intolerance”. Humans also are unable to chemically breakdown “Galactose”. And we have none of the enzymes to breakdown “Caceine”. So our body tries to breakdown Casiene with Lots and lots of acid. This still does not fully breakdown the casiene into its individual amino acid blocks. The high acid level is very bad for digestive system.. And the casiene can enter the blood stream and lead to auto immune diseases.

    check out the video …
check out the video “Udderly Amazing” on google video. It is an lecture by Dr. Vieth on biology of how dairy causes people to become sick. If you see it, let me know what you think. Go to the Google Video website and use key words “udderly amazing” in the search bar. Keep the quotation marks in.

No problem! I’m glad you figured out what was at the root of your health problems. We’re lucky. Some people never figure it out…

    Thanks for the vid. …
Thanks for the vid. I recently came to the conclusion that milk was causing similar health problems for me.Nice to hear I’m not alone. There’s a lot of negative info out there on soy milk that frankly I don’t believe, since the people “speaking out” against soy seem to have nothing to say about dairy at all. There’s an anti-soy video here on youtube that has 3 pages of comments, and every one echoes the claim that soy is evil, turns men into girls, causes cancer and shrinks the brain.Gimme a break

    dairy causes zits …
dairy causes zits in lots of people. I had zits for years and dairy was always my favorite food (pizza, milkshakes, ect…) I NEVER MADE THE CONNECTION! Bottem line, if u got zits and you lay off dairy all together, IT WILL CLEAR UP! TRUST ME!

    Oh my goodness! …
Oh my goodness! That’s an extremely severe case of dairy allergy. Is there nothing the doctors can suggest at all to help with that? I was on a plane a few months ago and we were all told that we couldn’t order, eat or even HAVE peanuts with us because someone on the place had a severe nut allergy. Apparently, just being in the vicinity of peanuts caused them to have a severe reaction.
