I have the same problem, and just ate a plum, only to get the same itchy throat issue. The reason you can drink apple juice, as well, probably apple cause and apple pie...is due to the fact that they are all cooked/boiled. whatever it is in the raw apple, be it a protein or element, breaks down when cooked. I wish i knew more on this and what is causing it with raw fruit.....but the cooked part i'm positive on.

Sounds like gas. Seriously. If you have a back problem then your posture may be twisting your stomach or esophagus, trapping gas in your stomach, which can make you feel nauseous, dizzy, and/or light-headed. When this happens to me, I try to realign my spine and get a good belch (burp) out, or "fart" - then I feel normal again. Sounds weird, but it's what I've learned over the years from my own experiences.

2 boys with cow milk allergy. First out grew it at about 3.
1. green poop.
2. some diarrhea
3. skin rash - body, arms, legs, stomach
- rough texture to skin, no real color changes.
* Both drink Goat milk with out a problem. Source Walmart purple paper quart located with the milk fridge.
(FYI) The cow milk (protein)allergy is passed in mothers breast milk if you drink cow milk or eat food made with it.butter, cheese, etc.
As a back-up to breast milk we use nestle Good Start with partially hydrolyzed "broken down" protein.
We also suffered a Soy allergy. We tried soy formula for one day. He screamed ALL night.

I know this posting is a few months old, but the blessing of goat milk was not mentioned. We have healthy kids with good remarks from the pediatrician and the dentist.

I recently had panic attacks which started with chest tightness and dizziness. I too got the antidepressants, but my doctor said he thought it was autoimmune. I was checked out by another doctor and it was allergies. I am on allergy shots for multiple types of mold and other allergies, which started when I started a new job in an old moldy building! My ENT told me to quit, but I couldn't and started shots. Hope this helps some. I guess the dizziness from the allergies started the panic.

I have always been allergic to cats, and dogs since I was a teenager. I also have hayfever, and mold allergies. Lately, I was thinking that my allergies had lessened and we decided to get a kitten. At first it was horrible, sneezing and itchy eyes, but I loved the kitten. I decided to take claritin (or the generic) every day, and that helped immensely. I made sure to keep the cat out of the bedroom. For the first days, I almost thought I would have to return the cat to the shelter. But he was so cute. After about a month, however, taking the loratadine daily really helped my symptoms and it became very bearable. I made sure to wash my hands after holding him, and stay out of the room with his litter box as much as possible. Now, almost 8 months later, he is all over the house, even the bedroom, and I am quite fine. For the past 2 weeks or so, I haven’t even needed the loratadine. I really can’t believe it—my allergies are gone.

You can develop an allergy at any time but I wouldn't count Fido out just yet. My husband was afraid that he would be allergic to pets but he got a scratch test done by an allergist and it turned out he was just allergic to grass and tree pollen that had gotten on the animals coats when they were rolling around outside.
