pet allergy
In my new family’s rental house, we are not allowed to have cats or dogs and I have a kitten. She has good behavior, well groomed, and litter trained. The only other thing that is keeping me from letting her live with me is that some people have pet allergies. Any solutions? What causes people who are allergic to pets to sneeze … I need to get reduce that kind of stuff so that I can let my kitten live with me
Yes there is powder and bath shampoo you can get research it on google and im pretty sure petsmarrt carries it. and during shedding season groom her 2 everyday

hay fever
I rarely get colds at all, but this year, my hay fever has been particularly bad and I have also had two colds the summer already. Are they related?
It’s actually the opposite of that and instead an overactive immune system. Very basically similar concept to an auto immune disease except doesn’t attack body cells

hay fever
Posted tonight, thanks for all great ansewers however I just wanted to make it known that I’m not trying to loose weight since my weight is perfect and I dont have type 1 or 2 diabetes! I only have severe hay fever when I am consuming natural sugars except (honey or table sugar which I dont even use. My hay fever is much better when I halt the use of sugar in my diet!
I doubt it’s the sugar that is the problem. Allergies are reactions to proteins usually. I bet you’ve beeen eating certain fruits?
Have you been eating a lot of strawberries or other berries.
You may be allergic to certain berries or fruits or vegies?
You may need to add more water to your fruit juices and move any skin or peel or rind or pulp from the fruit or juice!
Remove all fruit in any form from your diet and then one by one add them back in. When you start getting reactions again then you have found the culprit?
Be aware tho of synergistic effects. It may be two or three different foods acting together?

hay fever
I get hay fever soooo much in the summer and I heard someone said eating local honey helps to relieve it. how often should i eat them that i will notice the benefits?
start right now and have 1-2 teaspooonfuls a day
I get really bad hayfever too and these are the other really effective things I’ve found to help, over the years:
homeopathic remedies arsenicum albicum 200c for sneezing and euphrasia200c for itchy eyes (health shops or homeopath)
really high doses of soluble effervescent vit c 5-8 GRAMS (1000mg) a day – not dangerous in high doses, your body cannot store it so it excretes what it doesn’t need. vitc is a natural anti-histamine (chemists, supermarkets)
luffa nasal spray, REALLY effective (health shops)
Rescue Remedy drops for when a bad attack is happening (health shops, chemists, supermarkets)
rinse out your nostrils with cold water to physically remove the pollen
dry clothes and bedding in the tumble dryer not on the line, to prevent them picking up pollen
wraparound sunglasses
cut down/out dairy products during the hayfever time as dairy is mucus forming
hope this helps.

pet allergy
I’m house sitting for a family with two german shepherds, two cats, four hermit crabs, a bunny, a snake, a hamster, and a leopard gecko. I’ve also brought my pet rat over for the company.
I’m staying here for a week, and this is my 3rd day here. I’ve woken up with crusty oozing eyes every morning, and my throat feels raw and itchy, and my lungs feel heavy. My nose has been a bit stuffy as well. But i’m also experiencing a bit of nausea and fever as well. Plus, I have acne that’s usually pretty well under control, but it’s flaring up very badly.
I’ve always lived with a long haired cat, so I don’t think it’s necessarily the cats, but is it possible that I’m having allergies?
If you have no problem with cats in the past, then it may be the dogs, or in fact, the rabbit. I have sevre allergys with cats and rabbits, but I’m fine with dogs.
Take some anti-histamine pills and get some cheap eye wash and wash your eyes a few times a day. That helps me alot when I have to be around cats or rabbits.

hay fever
I am suffering with hay fever like many of you out there. I want to know what is the best product on the market or if you have any "Grandma’s recipes" that you swear by
Thanks
The best way to minimize hayfever, is to eat some of the local honey.
It’s this pollen that the local bees make their honey from, so just like a flu jab, it should provide some immunization, providing it’s the local honey from local bees.
Don’t stray too far out of your region though because it won’t work with other pollinated flowers.

hay fever
i get hay fever around may/june and it is really really bad, just imagine the very worst cold you ever had and multiply it by 100 and you may get some idea of how bad it is. ireally dont want to go through it again so is there anything i can take to prevent it. i have tried every anti histamine and they dont help at all. thanks.
Go to your doctor and get a prescription for a steroidal nasal spray, such as Nasonex or Beconase AQ. You start it a week before hayfever season. It works MUCH better than antihistamines.
For lifetime relief, go to an allergist and get desensitation shots. They really help, but it may take two years before you see any relief. After you have the series of shots, you no longer need allergy medicine.

hay fever
it’s so nice and sunny outside and i’m stuck here with a blocked nose and a head ace it’s annoying <.<
everytime i wake up before 10 am i get hay fever i sometimes want to wake up early and enjoy the nice fresh air but i can’t
so how do i stop this hay fever, sometimes my hay fever is normal then 4 hours later it becomes a flue
so i want to stop it and other then hay fever medicel pills what else can i do to cure my hay fever?
try eating honey that’s made nearby – the idea is that the bees use local flowers to make the honey, so when you eat it you get a tiny amount of the chemicals that make you sneeze, then if you keep eating it for several months it might get you used to the chemicals and get rid of your hayfever. i’ve never tried it myself though!

hay fever
True, that is nowhere near as bad as it gets in summer, but it usually stops altogether in mid-August. My mum has just told me that she heard on the radio that people are getting hay fever symptoms from spores released from the decaying leaves on the ground – does anybody have any information on this? Does it sound likely that this is the reason?
Yes, there are several pollens that are released in the fall, ragweed being the most well-known.
The tree leaves themselves don’t technically release spores. When they fall to the ground and then get wet, mold grows on them as the leaves begin to decay. The mold spores get into the air and that will bother anyone with mold allergies.
When you turn on your heating system, especially if it’s a forced hot air system, you are kicking a whole spring and summer’s worth of dust up from the heating system and into your house. There can be mold in those as well.
