mild reaction, tightness in the chest, throat swollen, mouth swollen, cough, etc
GREETINGS, usually the first 20-30 minutes are the worst, if you survived that long, it will get better. Usually 24 hours to get all out of your system, you might have upset stomach, the trots, maybe headache tomorrow. If not better tomorrow, go to the ER, try some benedryl or any antihistimine tonight to help it feel better.

What i mean about that is, they say to eat fish and seafood like shellfish and stuff. I can’t eat that stuff and also im allergic to mushrooms. Isn’t there anything out there that is healthy that i can eat without it being chalkfilled with seafood and mushrooms?
Eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats like deer and chicken, and fat free dairy products. You can avoid seafood and mushrooms easily.

Im taking Clindamycin and when i do, i have a little chest pain associated with heartburn, every single time I take a dose. As far as I know, im not allergic to any medicine. and this is my second time taking it with the same episodes. I get a little dizzy as well, but i think thats a small side effect.
You can be allergic to Clindamycin and it can have wide range of side effects. Do not use this medication if you are allergic to clindamycin or lincomycin.

Today I went to take a test at the university (homeschooled) It is more like a co-op school thing. I was taking the test in a room alone and have been suffering from your normally allergy symptoms. About half way through the test the "teacher" comes in a apologise for the smell. I have allergies so I really didn’t smell it. He then tells me about how the carpet got wet and it is mold. Oh my gosh I have a aweful allergy to mold and now since I have in hauled about an hour and a half of mold filled air I have this aweful cough that really hurts. Can anyone give me tips to get rid of it or ease the pain thanks.
Bless your heart! How awful!
First, take your normal allergy medication (Sudafed, or Zyrtec, or Claritin, or whatever you usually take when your allergies act up).
Next, if you have some type of nasal spray that’s prescription (or even the saline spray that’s over-the-counter), use that.
You may want to consider Tylenol or Advil or Aleve to reduce the swelling (which can also make your pain/swelling get much better).
As for the cough, I find that hot tea with fresh lemon and honey will help clear up a bad cough.
Hope that helps, best of luck!

Please help.. I don;t thnik it is a cat allergy cause it takes time for me to experience it.
Usually within half an hour of uninterrupted exposure.
A couple of friends come to my house, and if they haven’t taken their allergy antihistimines before they get here, they are sniffing and their eyes are getting red, and they are in a full blown allergy attack by the time they leave (2-3 hrs).

I’m allergic to cats (sneezing, sniffling, coughing, itchy eyes, the whole bit) and I’m wondering – are there any good ways to reduce your symptoms *after* leaving the area with cats? I left a friend’s house the other day (who has 3 cats) and was on my way to meet some other people for a movie and wished I knew ways to get my body back to normal faster.
My daughter had a bad allergy to cats. She visited a chiropractor and over a period of a couple of months her allergy lessened and finally went. We now have two inside and 12 outside cats and she only has a problem if she is stressed. She knows what to do if she has a problem now. Check out chiropractors who specialize in allergy relief. Also have you tried wearing a shirt/tshirt etc. that you can change when you leave the cat area? As it’s the dander (not the cat) that causes the problem, a clothing change may help. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is also great if you’re into alternative health options and is very effective on physical problems. Good luck.
